What to do if your suction cup fell?

As a reminder, this product only works on SMOOTH and NON-POROUS surfaces such as glass, mirrors, porcelain tiles, smooth PVC and metal. Marble and ceramic tiles are slightly porous and suction cups will not adhere to these surfaces.
To test surface compatibility, let’s run an experiment. Please attempt to attach the product to a smooth MIRROR:
- If the suction cup stays on, the surface you previously tried attaching the suction cup to was most likely porous or uneven. Choose another surface/location, or use the 3M adhesive discs if they were included in your package.
- If the suction cups still will not stick, the product may have a manufacturing defect. If you think this is the case, please review the next 2 points.
Check the black rubber base to see if there is any extra piece of rubber protruding as seen in this image.
If you see such a piece protruding, try to cleanly rip it off, then attempt installation one more time.
Lastly, if it still falls off, apply a little bit of Vaseline to the black rubber base. This will help to seal the suction vacuum better.
